Allen Keith Norwood, a cherished husband, father, and beloved member of the Little Rock community, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2026, in his hometown of Little Rock, Arkansas, surrounded by family. Born on September 25, 1975, in Little Rock, Allen lived a life marked by kindness and deep devotion to his loved ones.
Those who knew Allen remembered him as always kind, a man who loved his family with an unwavering heart. His generosity of spirit and dedication to those around him left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Allen is survived by his devoted wife, Stacy Norwood, who stood by his side through all of life’s journeys. Together, they raised two beautiful daughters, Emily Dawn Norwood and Claire Diane Norwood, both of Little Rock, who carry forward their father's legacy of love and compassion. Also surviving him is his son, Nathanael Allen Hale, who resides in St. Louis, Missouri. His siblings, April Smith (Marcus) and Gary Wilson Jr. (Heather), remain pillars of support to the family. Allen's memory is also lovingly preserved by a wide circle of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and close friends who held him in high regard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gary Wilson Sr. and Cynthia Norwood, whose memories live on in the family's hearts.
The community is invited to pay their respects at the visitation held at Greater Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, located at 2623 Lewis St, Little Rock, Arkansas 72204, on June 20, 2026. The visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. and continue until 10:45 p.m. On the same day, a funeral service will be conducted at Greater Galilee at 11:00 a.m., providing a solemn occasion to honor a life well lived.
Allen Keith Norwood's life remains a testament to kindness, family love, and steadfast commitment. His legacy endures in the hearts of those he touched and the stories they will share. The loss felt by his family and community is profound, but so too is the gratitude for having known such a remarkable man. May his soul find eternal peace.
