Arguster Blanks, a beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished member of the Little Rock community, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2026, in her hometown of Little Rock, Arkansas. Born on February 4, 1933, Arguster lived a life deeply rooted in faith, family, and fellowship.

From an early age, Arguster embraced her Christian faith, an integral part of her identity throughout her lifetime. She was a dedicated member of Christway Missionary Baptist Church, where she found spiritual nourishment and a sense of community. Her enduring commitment to her church and faith was evident to all who knew her, and it offered her comfort and strength during her journey.

Arguster’s life was marked by her profound love for family. She cherished traveling and spending quality time with her loved ones, always prioritizing their happiness and well-being. Among her proudest accomplishments was raising her children with love, care, and unwavering dedication. Her nurturing spirit had a lasting impact on her family, who remember her as a steadfast and tender matriarch.

Arguster is survived by her devoted daughter, Elaine Morris, who carries forward her mother’s legacy of love and resilience. She is also lovingly remembered by ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren, each of whom was a source of immense pride and joy to her. Her family circle remains blessed by the presence of her 100-year-old sister, Leola Hood, whose shared memories and deep bond with Arguster stand as a testament to their lifelong connection.

The family grieves the loss of Arguster’s parents, Guss Blanks and Amelia Thompson, as well as her daughter, Beverly Morris, who predeceased her. Their memories live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved them.

A funeral service to honor Arguster’s life will be held on February 14, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Christway Missionary Baptist Church located at 4324 Potter St, Little Rock, AR 72204. Friends, family, and members of the community are invited to gather to celebrate a life well-lived—a life marked by faith, devotion, and immeasurable love.
