Beverly Ann Morris, a cherished mother, grandmother, and devoted domestic engineer, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2025, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Born on April 5, 1955, in Benton Harbor, Michigan, Beverly lived a life marked by dedication to her family and community.
A proud graduate of Benton Harbor High School, Beverly devoted 28 years of her career as a domestic engineer at Camp Robinson, where she was respected for her commitment and care. Her proudest accomplishments were centered around raising her children, her exceptional cooking, and the precious time spent with her family.
Beverly is survived by her loving children, Laticia Morris and Travara Morris, who carry forward her legacy with deep admiration and love. Her joy extended to her grandchildren, Madison, Zharia, Travaras Jr., Tyree, and Zoe, as well as her great-grandchildren, Khasen and Xy, who brought immense happiness to her life. She also leaves behind her mother, Arguster Blanks, her sister Elaine Morris, and brother Alonzo Morris. Beverly’s extended family includes her loving bonus grandchildren Kevin Jones Jr., Jayla Clark, and Bailey Clark, along with nephews Darrin Jenkins, Ronnell Morris, Shonnell Morris, and Cornell Morris, and nieces Brandy Morris, Dawn Matthews, Monique Morris, and Chandra Morris. Her aunt, Leola Hood, shared a special bond with Beverly, and her faithful fur baby, Sox, remains a cherished presence.
Beverly mourned the loss of her father, Alonzo Morris Jr., her brother Cornell Morris, and her beloved Godson, Qortavius Reed, who survive as treasured memories in her heart.
Beverly's life will be honored in a funeral service held at Christ Way Missionary Baptist Church, located at 4324 Potter St, Little Rock, AR 72204, on August 23, 2025. The service will begin at 11:00 a.m. and conclude at 12:00 p.m.
Beverly Ann Morris will be remembered for her unwavering dedication to her family and the warmth she brought into the lives of all who knew her. Her legacy of love, care, and resilience remains a guiding light for those she leaves behind.
