Chasity Lejeanna Broadway Jones, a cherished daughter, sister, mother, and steadfast friend, passed away on November 13, 2025, in Houston, Texas. Born on August 24, 1979, in North Little Rock, Arkansas, Chasity’s life was marked by her radiant spirit, unwavering faith, and profound dedication to those she loved.
From an early age, Chasity embraced her faith, accepting Christ at the First Baptist Church in North Little Rock, which laid a spiritual foundation that illuminated her journey. Known for her infectious laughter and love of the outdoors, she brought joy and warmth into every room she entered. Her extraordinary culinary skills made her an amazing cook, beloved by friends and family alike. Beyond her talents and personality, Chasity was an extraordinary friend whose kindness and loyalty left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Chasity was a distinguished graduate of North Little Rock High School, Class of 1997, and furthered her education at the University of Arkansas Fayetteville, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration. Her pride extended beyond academia into her active involvement as a proud member of the Lambda Theta Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a testament to her commitment to community and sisterhood.
Her legacy lives on through her beloved children, Gizelle, Gavin, and Greyson, who were the light of her life. She is also survived by her mother, Kay Clark; her brothers, Cory Broadway, Jameel Broadway, and Kamal Broadway; and her sister, Kirstein Broadway. Chasity’s family circle extended richly to nieces, nephews, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, sorors, and a vast village of devoted friends who held her in the highest esteem and will miss her dearly.
Chasity was preceded in death by her father, Calvin Broadway; her sisters, Renee Jackson-Frazier and sister-in-law, Cherylynn Broadway; grandmothers Imogene Smith Williams and Eula Wiggins Broadway; and grandfathers Earl Love, Leroy Williams, and Julius Broadway. Their memories remain a cherished part of her story and a comfort to those she leaves behind.
A memorial service to honor Chasity’s remarkable life will be held on November 22, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Eighth Street Missionary Baptist Church located at 901 Sa Jones Dr, North Little Rock, Arkansas.
Chasity Lejeanna Broadway Jones’s warm spirit, boundless faith, and loving nature will forever be remembered. Her presence enriched the lives of her family and community in ways words can scarcely capture. We honor her memory and celebrate the lasting impact she made on this world.
