Born on July 12, 1939, in Clarendon, Jamaica, Cyril’s life was a testament to dedication, skill, and steadfast values, guided by a spirit of humor, truth, and unwavering devotion.
Cyril’s early passions and talents were richly diverse. Known affectionately in the community as “Scarface” through his CB radio days, he also expressed his creativity and technical abilities as a photographer. Throughout his life, he honed an impressive array of practical skills, including carpentry, painting, and block laying, which formed the foundation of his professional journey.
His career path reflected a deep commitment to craftsmanship and service. Cyril began his work in electrical trades and plumbing, disciplines in which he proved exceptionally adept. His talents and determination led him to become a builder and a licensed residential contractor, roles in which he made lasting contributions to the homes and neighborhoods of those around him.
Beyond his professional achievements, Cyril Morris was beloved for his steady presence and sincerity. His personality was characterized by a steady-hearted humor and an honest way of relating to others, qualities that endeared him to many throughout his lifetime.
