Edie Mae Dunnick, a cherished and devoted woman known for her deep faith and boundless generosity, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2026. Born on November 4, 1944, in Barton, Arkansas, Edie Mae was the beloved daughter of the late Sam Silas and Lillie Walker. Throughout her life, she embodied love, compassion, and unwavering faith in Christ Jesus, which distinguished her in all her endeavors and in the hearts of those who knew her.
Edie Mae lived each day with a spirit of kindness and selflessness, giving of herself unconditionally to everyone she encountered. Her warmth and devotion were guiding lights to her family and friends, leaving an indelible mark that will endure through the years.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Daveta Davis, who carries forward her mother’s legacy of grace and strength. Edie Mae also leaves behind two cherished grandchildren and a great-granddaughter, all of whom will forever hold her memory close. In addition, she will be deeply missed by other family members and friends who treasured her presence and friendship.
A memorial service to celebrate Edie Mae’s life will be held on May 9, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 21 Rahling Cir, Little Rock, Arkansas, 72223. Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance of a remarkable woman whose faith and love illuminated their lives.
Edie Mae Dunnick’s enduring spirit of compassion, faith, and unconditional love will be forever cherished by those who had the privilege to know her. Her legacy is a testament to a life well-lived and a soul deeply loved.
