George Edward Horton, born March 5, 1954, in Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on October 12, 2026, in North Little Rock, Arkansas. He will be remembered with love by those who knew him and by the family who shared in his life.

George was preceded in death by his parents, John Horton and Mable Horton.

He leaves behind a devoted family who will continue to cherish his memory. He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Tequila Horton. He is also survived by his sons, Charles Carouthers and his wife Diane, George Horton Jr. and his wife Pamela, and Dedrick Johnson and his wife Danielle. George’s memory will also be carried forward by his nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren, each a lasting part of the family he held dear.

He is further survived by his sisters, Vickie Reed and her husband Ellis, and Sharon Boykins and her husband Duane, as well as his brothers, Jonathan Horton, Charles Horton, Robert Horton, Dennis Horton, and Clifford Horton. The love of his family and the many bonds shared among siblings, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren stand as a lasting tribute to his life.

A funeral service for George Edward Horton will be held on October 24, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at American Family Funeral Home & Cremations, 1527 E Broadway St, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72114.

George will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him. His life remains a blessing to his family, and his memory will continue to live on in their hearts.
