With heavy hearts and fond memories, we remember Ottimis Claire Lloyd, lovingly known as "Princess," who passed away peacefully on July 8, 2026, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Born on September 7, 1958, Ottimis’s journey graced this world for nearly 68 cherished years.
Ottimis Claire Lloyd’s life was marked by a gentle strength, a spirit that could light up even the quietest of rooms, and a kindness that left a lasting imprint on everyone privileged enough to know her. Those who knew her best often called her “Princess,” a nickname that spoke not only to her grace and warmth but also to the genuine way she made others feel special and seen. Her presence was always tender, her compassion unwavering, and her laughter an echo of joy in the lives she touched.
She is survived by one daughter, Cozetta "Coco" Jones (Little Rock, AR), two grandchildren, Alexis Heard (Conway, AR), and Nicholas Rose (Norfolk, VA), one niece, Nikita Abdullah-Donohoo (Malcolm); and three nephews, Adib (Ibn) Abdullah (Conway, AR), Rashad Abdullah (Conway, AR), and Qiyyam Abdullah (Little Rock, AR). Her fur babies, 5 dogs and one cat. Her cousins who are like her siblings, Alvin Morton, Brian Morton, Paula Williams, Keith Williams, Ricky Warren and those who have passed on, Valinda and Nonnie.
Although words can scarcely capture the depth of Ottimis’s impact, her legacy lives on in the quiet moments and cherished memories shared with friends, loved ones, and all who crossed her path. Each interaction with her served as a reminder of the goodness and light that can dwell within a single soul. Whether through acts of gentle persuasion, sage advice, or simply her loving embrace, she gave generously of her heart.
We gather in spirit and remembrance, honoring Ottimis Claire Lloyd for a life beautifully lived—with dignity, with warmth, and with remarkable compassion. As we bid her farewell, those whose lives are brighter for having known “Princess” hold fast to the stories, lessons, and love she leaves behind. Though she is no longer with us, the echoes of her kindness and the radiance of her spirit remain, comforting and guiding all of us as we move forward.
May Ottimis rest in peace, forever cherished in memory and in the hearts of all who love her. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 18, 2026 10:00 am at Mercy Seat Missionary Baptist Church 8715 Oman St. Little Rock, AR 72209.
